How to change Wi-Fi network to BALLOONAIR (Reconfiguration)

When using BALLOONAIR, you may need to change the Wi-Fi network settings. This process is called “Configuration”. Please note, that sensor configuration process does not affect the data accumulated over the past period. To change the Wi-Fi network settings, follow this step-by-step guide:

  1. Go to sensor settings in the BalloonAir application and select “Configure”.
  2. Put the BALLOONAIR into configuration mode. To do this, disconnect the device from the power supply for a few seconds, then turn it on again. Click next in the app.
IMPORTANT! After rebooting, wait until BALLOONAIR enters the steady light mode. If you have already done configuration before, this process may take about 1.5-2 minutes.
  3. On the next screen, you will need to select a Wi-Fi network for connecting the sensor, then enter a password for accessing the selected network. Do this by clicking “Configure”.
  4. The configuration process may take several minutes. The progress of operations will be displayed on the mobile application. Do not unplug BALLOONAIR.
  5. When finished, you will be taken to the main screen. BALLOONAIR will enter the purple pulsing mode. As soon as the first data begins to flow from the device to the platform, it will be reflected in the mobile application.
IMPORTANT! Wait until the configuration process is complete. Do not unplug it.

In the event of a problem with the configuration process, you will be prompted to start the process over. If you are unable to set up BALLOONAIR — check out our connection troubleshooting guide.
